Vermilion hosts many community programs throughout the year.

Food Pantry

Bags of groceries are distributed at 990 State St, Vermilion at United Church of Christ, Congregational the third Friday of the month (except in December, when the distribution date is the second Friday) from 10 am to 11:30 am. Food is also available on an emergency basis.

Dial-A-Ride Program

Dial-A-Ride provides accessible and affordable transportation for the general public that improves the quality of life by providing access to health care, shopping, employment and recreational services in the Vermilion area. Dial-A-Ride offers scheduled, personalized transportation for all Vermilion residents, curb-to-curb transportation with the capability to provide door-to-door assistance on request and significantly reduced rates for seniors and persons with disabilities. Grace's Kitchen

Meals are served onsite at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3747 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.

Vermilion Salvation Army

The Vermilion Salvation Army Food Pantry is located at 4560 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion distributing food on Wednesdays and Fridays (except the third Friday of the month) from 9 am to 1 pm.

Kids Clothing Boutique

Free kids clothing with sizes from newborn to teens and some adult sizes at E & R Church, 752 Grand Street, Vermilion. Call (440) 967-3559.
